2011 MCLA NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

May 17-21, 2011 in Denver, Colorado

For the third consecutive year, the MCLA National Championships was held at Dick's Sporting Goods Park near Denver, CO. The five day event hosted the MCLA's top 32 teams as they battled for the 2011 National Championship in two divisions.

For the 2009 and 2010 MCLA seasons the Board of Directors voted to waive the current number height for jerseys (Rule below). All other requirements in the 2009 Rules; Personal Equipment section will be in effect for 2009 and 2010.

In 2011 the number height on jerseys regulation (Rule below) will be mandatory for all MCLA teams.

SECTION 21.
b. Jerseys. The jerseys shall have numbers that are at least 10 inches high and centered on the front. Jersey numbers of at least 12 inches in height also must be centered on the back. The home team shall wear white or light-colored jerseys; however, this rule may be waived if both coaches agree to do so before the game. When jersey colors are not sufficiently contrasting, the home team shall change its jerseys.
