2011 MCLA NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP
May 17-21, 2011 in Denver, Colorado
For the third consecutive year, the MCLA National Championships was held at Dick's Sporting Goods Park near Denver, CO. The five day event hosted the MCLA's top 32 teams as they battled for the 2011 National Championship in two divisions.

Seedings Announced for MCLA National Championships
The University of Michigan and the University of Dayton earn top seeds in their respective divisions
COMMERCE CITY, Colorado – May 4, 2009: The Men’s Collegiate Lacrosse Association (MCLA) announced the Division I and Division II teams that will compete for national titles at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Colo. May 12-16. The University of Michigan, last year’s champion, and the University of Dayton are the top seeds in Division I and Division II, respectively.
The tournament field for Division I is:

- University of Minnesota-Duluth (UMLL)

- Virginia Polytechnic Institute* (SELC)

Michigan is undefeated through the regular season and playoffs – a feat they accomplished last year before winning their first national championship.
The teams in the Division II bracket are:

Division II features two undefeated teams: University of Dayton and University of Northern Colorado. Davenport, Missouri State, Cal State-Fullerton and Stonehill are all making their tournament debut.
The first round and quarterfinal games of the MCLA National Championships will be played on the external fields at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park on May 12 and 13. About the Men’s Collegiate Lacrosse Association
The Men’s Collegiate Lacrosse Association (MCLA), the national organization of men’s collegiate club teams, was formed in 2006 to provide more direct attention to collegiate club lacrosse and a quality college lacrosse experience where varsity lacrosse does not yet exist. The MCLA consists of over 200 teams from across the United States, separated into two divisions and 10 conferences.
