2010 Tournament Seeding Announced

Tournament Seeding Announced for MCLA National Championships
The University of Michigan and the University of St. Thomas earn top seeds in their respective divisions

COMMERCE CITY, Colo.—May 2, 2010—The Men’s Collegiate Lacrosse Association (MCLA) announced the Division I and Division II teams that will compete for national titles at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Colo. May 11-15. The University of Michigan, last year’s DI champion, and St. Thomas, the returning DII champions, are the top seeds in Division I and Division II, respectively.

The tournament field for Division I is:

  4. Chapman University (SLC)*

Michigan enters the tournament with only one loss on the season and back to back championships in 2008 and 2009.

Division II features the return of the St Thomas Tommies, who have won 22 games in a row including last year’s National Championship.

The first round and quarterfinal games of the MCLA National Championships will be played on the external fields at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park on May 11 and 12.
