Announcing MCLA iPhone App
Today the MCLA (Men’s Collegiate Lacrosse Association) announces the launch of it’s dedicated iPhone app. “MCLA Lacrosse” brings you the most comprehensive lacrosse app on the market. With over 200 teams and over 20,000 Players and Alumni, the MCLA is represented by some of the largest universities in the U.S. The MCLA boasts the biggest college lacrosse footprint in the US.
“Our iPhone app is one more way to get the MCLA in front of more people. We now have several ways someone can find the MCLA; web, print and mobile.” said Agent Ogden, the MCLA iPhone app designer. “It’s pretty simple to navigate around and look at scores, player and stats following the design of MCLA.us. It’s 6,000 active players and 1,300 current games right in your pocket.”
MCLA president Tony Scazzero, “This is yet another landmark along the MCLA trail of growth. The iPhone app is another example of our collective effort to present the MCLA to the broader lacrosse community.”
MCLA.us web developer, Will Duderstadt remarks, “From a technical standpoint, this entire app is powered by the MCLA.us API. The continued promotion and publishing of a publicly available API by the MCLA is giant leap forward for a league. Connecting core stats and data with the media, fan sites and teams promotes our games and teams to the growing lacrosse community.”
Features of the app include: Latest News Headlines, Scores, Standings, Players and Scoring Leaders. Ogden continues, “This is only the beginning, we will add features to the app over time along with some other MCLA surprises coming in the near future.”
Never miss a score from around the league with the MCLA app on your iPhone or iPod Touch.
