Support the Heffner Cause, Buy a Shirt

You may not have ever met Zach Heffner, but you may know him through his work. Whether it be his photo and video work for Easton Lacrosse, US Lacrosse Magazine Cover Shots, the infamous Kiss MCLA The Lax Mag cover or his playing years: National Champion at UVA, a pro player in the MLL, NLL or his stint on the Bronze Medal winning 2007 US National Indoor Team. Somewhere you’ve come into contact with him or his work.

Zach has donated 100′s of hours to MCLA projects including the MCLA We’re Everywhere videos and the 2012 MCLA National Championship videos.

Remember? Some of you made fun of the guy in the Dayton Flyers video for his stick skills.  That is Zach. Weird that his stick skills aren’t so good yet he has that one thing that every player wants – A National Championship.

Anyway, in the process of training for an LXMPro comeback, Zach suffered a devastating injury to his knee this past June while playing lacrosse. Needing major surgery to reconstruct his ACL, MCL, PCL and both meniscus, Zach went under the knife for a pretty routine procedure. In the following weeks, an unidentified infection forced Zach back under the knife three more times and put a definite end to his athletic career and also threatened to close the doors of his company, Verdict Digital.

Paying homage to Zach’s first words once the anesthesia wore off, “I hate Lacrosse right now,” a tee-shirt was made to help get Zach in better spirits. After wearing the shirt to a couple lacrosse events, people got the joke and started asking how they could get the shirt.

Printed on super comfy brushed cotton, these T-shirts are available for $15.00 plus S&H. 100% of the proceeds are dedicated to pay some medical bills and get him back on the field with a camera and as a player to continue his contribution to helping lacrosse grow.
