BOISE – The top teams from the Pacific Northwest Collegiate Lacrosse League (PNCLL) will descend on Boise State this weekend for the conference tournaments in both Divisions I and II.
The tournaments will run from Friday through Sunday, with the champions in both divisions earning an automatic bid to the 2016 MCLA National Championships powered by Under Armour. The nationals run from May 9-14 in Orange County, Calif.
Oregon has earned the top seed in the four-team Division I bracket and will face Washington in one semifinal on Saturday. The Ducks will be looking for redemption after losing to the Huskies, 19-17, two weeks ago. On the other side of the draw, Oregon State clashes with host Boise State. The Beavers downed the Broncos at the beginning of the month, 8-4.
The six-team Division II tournament opens on Friday with two first round games. Central Washington and Western Oregon tangle first, with the winner drawing Gonzaga in the semifinals.
