DENVER, Colo. -- Long time MCLA broadcast partner, Lacrosse Talk Radio, is pleased to announce a new name and new host for its MCLA talk show.
The show will be called "Slides and Rides" and will be hosted on a bi-weekly basis by Dave Franklin beginning this Sunday, Feb. 11 at 8 p.m. EST.
“Slides and Rides allows us to continue with our commitment to providing in-depth coverage of the MCLA in 2018 and beyond,” said Lacrosse Talk Radio founder Dan Matthews. “Dave Franklin brings a wealth of knowledge about the league thorough his days as a player in addition to his previous three years covering the league for other media outlets.”
Slides and Rides will feature bi-weekly recaps and analysis of both MCLA Division I and II lacrosse, as well as interviews with coaches and players throughout the league.
Slides and Rides can be found live at LacrosseTalkRadio.com/broadcasts.
Founded by Dan Matthews in 2009 as Lacrosse Talk, LTR has grown to be the single largest producer of lacrosse content on Internet radio. During the past two seasons, LTR has produced content that has generated over 200,000 listeners.
LTR is dedicated to covering lacrosse at all levels from to youth to pro and has, in fact, done so featuring games from the World Series of Youth Lacrosse, Colorado High School Activities Association, MCLA, Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, and Major League Lacrosse.
Dave Franklin covered the MCLA for Inside Lacrosse from 2011-2014 and was a staple calling MCLA tournament games during that time period. Franklin is also a former player who spent his collegiate playing days at Emory University.
