Michigan State Leads CCLA Honorees

PITTSBURGH – Michigan State won its seventh consecutive Central Collegiate Lacrosse Association (CCLA) championship and were heavily represented when the all-conference honors were announced recently.
The Spartans had seven players on the all-CCLA first team and 14 overall. In addition, Michigan State senior goalie Kevin Boland was named the Defensive Player of the Year.
Davenport had a pair of players on the first team, including senior attackman Bryan Larocque, who was named Offensive Player of the Year.
Minnesota placed five players on the first team.
Western Michigan’s Brad MacDougal was honored as the conference’s Coach of the Year.
