ATLANTA – After winning their first title at the 2018 MCLA National Championships powered by Under Armour, Michigan State finishes the season as the No. 1 team in the final Under Armour Weekly Coaches Poll.

The Spartans (18-1), seeded third at the tournament, defeated No. 24 Oregon (7-7), No. 6 Virginia Tech (13-5), No. 3 Brigham Young (16-4) and No. 2 Chapman (16-1) to win the hardware.

South Carolina (18-2) and Utah (16-1) followed BYU to round out the top five.

Minnesota (8-7) and Florida (11-5) departed the poll to make way for Oregon and No. 25 Texas A&M (11-4).
