ATLANTA – The Men’s Collegiate Lacrosse Association (MCLA), the preeminent non-varsity league in the country, has created a Request for Proposal to host the 2020-21 MCLA National Championships.
Nationals will be held on May 11-16 in 2020 and from May 10-15 in 2021.
“The MCLA has been fortunate to hold our championships in locations all over the country and we’re always interested in visiting somewhere new,” said MCLA president Ken Lovic. “At the end of the day, however, we have to select the venue that makes the most sense for our membership in terms of budget and quality.”
The MCLA National Championships wraps up its two-year agreement with Salt Lake City in 2019. Salt Lake City became the seventh different location for nationals, joining St. Louis, Minneapolis, Dallas, Denver, Greenville (S.C.) and Orange County.
Those venues wishing to request a copy of the RFP (in PDF form) should send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Requests should include venue website and contact information.
The deadline for submission of a proposal is Thursday, Nov. 22. The site will be selected by April, 2019.
