TEMPE, Ariz. -- No. 23 Cal Poly visited No. 12 Arizona State in hopes of picking up a huge non-conference win. In a hotly contested affair, the Sun Devils managed to fend off a late Mustang charge and register a 12-11 victory.

Emerson Roth struck for a hat trick for Arizona State while Jake Marthens and Kai Welsh each added two goals and an assist.
