SLC Division II Awards Announced

SAN DIEGO – San Diego senior defenseman was named the Southwestern Lacrosse Conference (SLC) Division Defensive Player of the Year, leading a contingent of four Toreros on the all-conference first team.

With a staggering 80 goals (and 33 assists), UC Irvine senior attackman Joe Hinton was tabbed the SLC Offensive Player of the Year and was one of two Anteaters on the first team.

Northern Arizona, which won the SLC championship last weekend, placed four players on the first team.

After leading Loyola Marymount to a 10-3 record and a national ranking, Lions head man Ryan Kelly was tabbed Coach of the Year.
