Game Commentary Provided by Teams

TCU spotted Tech a 4-1 first quarter lead. The Frogs were able to settle into defense and for the second quarter the teams traded two goals apiece to leave the halftime mark at 6-3. Coming out in the third quarter the Red Raiders netted an early goal on a Man-up play. On their next possesion a great slide by the Horned Frog defenders let to an unlucky bounce, as the ball bounced off a defenders leg and into a waiting Tech Attackman's stick who was able to put Tech up 8-3. The Horned Frogs would continue shooting on goal only to hit two pipes in consecutive possesions. The Red Raiders were able to go up 9-3 during another transition opporutnity towards the end of the third.

Showing great poise and effort the Horned Frogs were able to close out the third with a flurry of goals coming from Robert Staky, Brock Hensarling and Erik Sandstrom. At the close of the Third the score was 9-6.

Going into the fourth the Horned Frogs were able to continue momentum getting two man-up goals from Michael Burciaga and Cameron Deptula. The Red Raiders would answer with another goal of their own to bring the score to 10-8. After winning a great face-off Erik Sandstrom was able to take advantage of an odd man situation and score to bring the game to 10-9 with 6 minutes left in the game. Tech won the ensuing face-off but TCU was able to get the ball back on offense. A great shot by Tyler Jackson hit two pipes before careening away from the goal and being recovered by Tech.

Pressing out TCU pushed to get the ball back. Tech would score one more time before the last minute. After gaining possesion back TCU's shots in the last minute sailed wide of the cage and the final score was 11-9 Tech.

The Horned Frogs are next in Action for their first meeting ever with Loyola Marymount University (#17 MCLA) and Claremont University in California.
