Game Commentary Provided by Teams

Dayton out hustled Davenport and dominated the ground ball and faceoff battle. Dayton was well coached and played an outstanding game.
Close game. The Davenport Goalie stopped numerous 1 on 1 scoring attempts, and after making the tough save, he alertly executed heads-up lightning strike passes up field to push the ball the other way -- a truly amazing performance against an aggressive Dayton ride. The best we have seen this year.

Typical Dayton weather, raining, cold, muddy field conditions – led to over 20 penalties in a close slug-fest.

#39 on Davenport had an exceptional game, teaching the Dayton defensive players how important it is to not hesitate on the second slide, he netted 6 points.

Dayton controlled the faceoffs in the second half, which changed the game tempo.
