Game Commentary Provided by Teams

EMORY Defense demonstrated why they are a top tier team against Dayton. The EMORY Goalie played tough, stopping point blank shots. Dayton had midfield depth, running four midfields in their run and gun offense.
With three injured starters, Emory was forced to dig in against a middie-heavy 51-man non-stop barrage of Dayton players. It was a great game to play and watch. IMHO, this one came down to the team who got less penalties. Both teams took full advantage of EMO situations and it may very well have decided the final 1-goal outcome. Dayton's very effective clear gave Emory transition troubles all day. And a four-goal comeback in the 4th with some key missed shots kept Emory in it until the final seconds. We'd like to thank Coach Mark, his great staff, and Dayton's amazingly sportsmanlike 51-player "mob" for coming to Atlanta for a great Top 10 weekend of lax.
