Game Commentary Provided by Teams

Great, hard fought game. Grove City came out sharp, taking an early 4-1 lead, and 7-6 at halftime. Dayton made some adjustments second half, tightening up their rides big time. Grove City could not get ground balls or successful clears, making it difficult to get it settled with their attack. Credit Dayton with a deep midfield that was able to run us hard and exploit our fatigue. #19 Joel Stiff led the Wolverines with 5 first half goals. After a bit of a slow start, GK Andrew Dymski had 25 saves.

Thanks to Dayton for hosting us on their turf field. They continue to be a very tough program that we look forward to playing each year.
Grove City played well, winning the first half against a lethargic Dayton Team. #24 Weinandy and #5 Furbay carried the Dayton Team by netting 9 goals.

In the first half, Dayton was a group of players that could not pick up a ground ball, could not catch, and forgot how to execute; however, they re-discovered field sense in the third quarter, which broke the game open. #11 Ben Domyancic had a great game in between the pipes, notching 18 saves.

Grove City is the real deal, they are an organization on their way up in competitiveness with class.
