Game Commentary Provided by Teams

UNLV hasn't commented on this game yet...
One again it was the story of two halves for USD.....
The first half would see UNLV come out fired up, and looking to run on the Toreros. This would prove to be a great game plan, as the Runnin' Rebels caused USD to play uncontrolled and reckless lacrosse. The Toreros would not be able to get out of the penalty box, being whistled for 11 penalties in the first half.
For the second time in two days, the second half would prove to be when the Toreros were able to find their way both on defense and at the face off X. USD only gave up one goal in the 3rd, and one goal in the 4th quarter. The 3rd quarter would also see the Toreros put together a string of 9 consecutive possessions off of face-offs, which would spark a 10-1 run. More impressive was the fact that USD would start to play controlled, and would not be flagged once in the second half.
The final score was USD 17 - UNLV 7. Many thanks for UNLV for making the trip out, we greatly look forward to playing in Las Vegas next season.
