Both offenses came out firing in the first half, as neither defense could find a way to slow the other team down; the score at halftime was tied 8-8.
Santa Barbara would seize control in the 3rd quarter, scoring 3 goals, while USD went scoreless. However in the 4th Quarter, USD struck quickly and retied the score at 12-12 with about 5 minutes remaining.
