Game Commentary Provided by Teams

Nebraska fought hard throughout the game, playing man-down for a great deal of it, to remain in the lead throughout all four quarters. Nebraska's keepers played excellently and their defense cleared the ball almost flawlessly. Carleton's attack was led by junior Will Tynan, we had 4 goals and won the majority of his face-offs. A great thanks to Nebraska for hosting us for the weekend, and best of luck with the remaining of your season.
Nebraska was anchored by a strong defense and an outstanding performance between the pipes by freshman goalie Edward Leigh. The Husker defense did an excellent job killing penalties, and was able to stymie the Knights for most of the day. Strong face-off play from junior f.o.s. Sean Hoesing and sophomore middie Jon Christie helped cue several productive offensive possessions. Sophomore middie Sam Jura led all scorers with 6 points on 4 goals and 2 assists.
