BOSTON – Boston College and New Hampshire have been tabbed co-favorites in Division I of the Continental Lacrosse Conference (CLC), according to the preseason coaches poll.
The Eagles and Wildcats each garnered 14 total points while also grabbing a pair of first-place votes.
Connecticut grabbed the remaining first-place vote and sits in the third spot of the five-team league.
Northeastern and Buffalo round out the poll.
Because of late conference movement this spring, the CLC has been given a waiver by the board of directors and will have an automatic qualifying berth to the 2022 MCLA National Championships presented by New Balance despite having just five teams.
This year’s nationals will be held at the Round Rock (Texas) Multipurpose Complex from May 9-14.
