CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – With a game time temperature of 35 degrees, No. 7 Boston College built a 12-1 lead on its way to defeating Rhode Island, 13-3, on Sunday afternoon.

Freshman Lawson Pisani netted four goals and senior co-captain John Gosstola added three goals and two assists to pace the Boston College offense. BC methodically assembled a 7-0 halftime lead, creating several transition goals as a result of strong team defense.
