BOSTON -- After making its first trip to the MCLA National Championships powered by Under Armour last spring, Bridgewater State has been tabbed the favorite to make a return visit to SoCal as they were the top pick in the Pioneer Collegiate Lacrosse League's (PCLL) preseason coaches poll.
The Bears (7-4) took five of the nine first place votes to leave it well clear of Southern Conn. State (6-5), which had three first place votes. The Owls were just a point ahead of New Haven (6-6) and Stonehill (5-6), which were tied for third. New Haven snagged the remaining first place vote.
