PITTSBURGH – It’s the deepest conference in the country, sending five teams to the 2016 MCLA National Championships powered by Under Armour, and the competition for Central Collegiate Lacrosse Association (CCLA) Division II postseason honors was just as competitive.

Grand Valley State had a league-leading four players named first team All-CCLA, led by Defensive Player of the Year Peter Treppa. Grove City placed a pair on the first team, including Offensive Player of the Year Daniel Casselli.

Conference tournament winner – and defending national champion – Dayton had three players recognized on the first team, all of whom came on the defensive side of the field. Lourdes had one representative on the first team while Gray Wolves’ skipper Patrick Yannarelli was tagged the Coach of the Year.

Siena Heights had two first team honorees and Lawrence Tech had one.
