ATLANTA- Texas Christian junior Cooper Coleman has ben named MCLA Division I PEARL Goalie of the Week. Coleman backstopped the TCU defense to a weekend sweep of Colorado and Colorado State. Across the games Coleman totaled 39 saves while allowing 20 goals good for a save percentage of 66.10%.
TCU head coach Brody Cummins said, “Cooper has been a huge reason for our success this year so far. Every big-game moment we've had, he steps up and shines. He is the type of teammate and leader you want for your defense- driven, consistent, and knowledgeable. It's been a joy coaching him, as he is not only an amazing goalie but a great young man as well.”
Congratulations to Cooper who will receive a PEARL swag bag including PEARL balls, the official ball of the MCLA.
