Conrad comes to NAU as a graduate student after attending the University of St. Thomas (Minn.) and will take over as defensive coordinator for the Lumberjacks.

Conrad was a four-year starter and three-time all-conference player at Centennial (Minn.) High School. Conrad began his collegiate career at Susquehanna University (NCAA D-III) in Selinsgrove, Pa., where he helped the River Hawks win their first ever conference title and a birth in the NCAA tournament.

After one season with Susquehanna, Conrad transferred to St. Thomas, where he was a first team all-UMLC pick and a third team All-American in 2014. Dan played on St. Thomas teams that advanced to the national semifinals of the MCLA National Championships powered by Under Armour in 2014 and helped UST win last year's title.

With the addition of Conrad to its coaching staff, Northern Arizona is looking forward to a fifth-straight bid the SLC Division II tournament.
