ATLANTA- For the first time this season Utah Valley (11-0) has received every first place vote in the 2026 MCLA New Balance Division I Weekly Coaches Poll. Utah Valley has been number one in every poll so far, but this is the first time that has been unanimous. The Wolverines defeated #2 Brigham Young 17-11 last week to become the unanimous pick at the top of the poll.
Brigham Young (10-1) remains in the second spot in the poll, but lost all of their first place votes they had in the past. The Wolverines and Cougars will be traveling to Colorado this weekend to play Colorado and Colorado State.
Tennessee (10-2) takes over the third spot in the poll having been idle for two weeks. The Volunteers will play #5 Virginia Tech and #8 Clemson this weekend.
Florida State (11-2) is ranked fourth after defeating their rival Florida Gators over the weekend.
Virginia Tech (8-1) is in fifth after a convincing win over Liberty. If the Hokies can defeat Tennessee, they will be the favorites for the top seed in the Atlantic Lacrosse Conference.
