ATLANTA- As has been the case in every 2026 MCLA New Balance Division I Weekly Coaches Poll Utah Valley (10-0) sits at the peak with 15 first-place votes. The Wolverines' Wasatch Range neighbors, Brigham Young (10-0), sit in second with 10 first-place votes. The two teams have separated themselves from the pack and have only five points between them in this week's poll. The rivals will face each other on Friday in the first of what could be as many as three games this season.
South Carolina (10-2) fresh off their trip to Utah where they beat Utah, but lost to Utah Valley remains in the third position. The Gamecocks will face #10 Clemson on Thursday evening.
Tennessee (10-2) is in the fourth spot and is in the midst of a long break before playing #6 Virginia Tech on April 10.
Florida State (10-2) sits in the fifth spot after defeating #8 Arizona in Minnesota last weekend. The Seminoles find themselves in a de facto play-in game for the SELC playoffs this weekend against their rival Florida Gators. A loss would mean the Seminoles would miss the conference playoffs despite their top-five ranking.
