ATLANTA- Once again St. Thomas (10-0) is the unanimous choice at the top of the 2026 New Balance MCLA Division II Weekly Coaches Poll. The Tommies picked up wins against #11 Rhode Island and #5 Grand Valley State. The closest game anyone has been to the Tommies so far is five goals. The Tommies received all 26 first-place votes.
Cal State San Marcos (12-1) is ranked second. The Cougars only loss came at the hands of Division I Texas Christian. The Cougars have completed their regular season and now await their match up for the Southwest Lacrosse Conference tournament.
Air Force (8-1) is ranked third just 21 points behind Cal State San Marcos. The Falcons defeated last week’s number three team in the College of Idaho and the two teams traded places. The Falcons have completed their regular season schedule.
The College of Idaho (12-1) is ranked fourth after suffering their first loss of the season against Air Force. The Yotes have completed their regular season schedule and are preparing for the Pacific Northwest Collegiate Lacrosse League (PNCLL) tournament.
Grand Valley State (7-3) rounds out the top five. The Lakers moved up four spots after wins over #6 Montana State and #11 Rhode Island in addition to their loss against #1 St. Thomas.
