ATLANTA – Concordia-Irvine won its first title at the 2017 MCLA National Championships powered by Under Armour, earning the Eagles the top spot in the final Under Armour MCLA Division II weekly coaches poll.

Concordia-Irvine snagged all 21 first place votes, keeping them comfortably ahead of No. 2 St. Thomas, which lost to the Eagles in the championship game, 13-10.

Semifinalists Grand Valley State and North Dakota State were slotted in the No. 3 and No. 4 spots, respectively. Sierra Nevada rounded out the Top 5.
