ATLANTA- For the third straight week in the 2026 MCLA Division I New Balance Weekly Coaches Poll Utah Valley (5-0) and Brigham Young (7-0) sit in the first and second spots. Utah Valley was idle last week and makes a trip to California this week. Brigham Young played an all-time shootout with 20th ranked Simon Fraser last week winning 23-17. The Beehive State schools took all 27 first place votes with Utah Valley taking 20 and Brigham Young getting seven.
South Carolina (8-1) sits in the third spot coming off an overtime win against Auburn and is idle this week. UC Santa Barbara (8-0) is in the fourth spot following their overtime win against 12th ranked Chapman. The Gauchos will host Utah Valley Wednesday night.
Florida State (8-2) coming off a split weekend in Virginia is ranked fifth after their 22-8 win over 8th ranked Liberty.
