ATLANTA- In the first 2026 MCLA Division I New Balance Weekly Coaches Poll the Utah Valley Wolverines (4-0) have taken the catbird seat with 18 first-place votes. Utah Valley’s closest game so far has been a ten-goal win against Grand Canyon.
Brigham Young (3-0) sits in the second spot and claimed four first-place votes. The Cougars have been on a roll similar to Utah Valley outside of a 15-11 win against Arizona State.
A pair of SELC teams hold down the three and four spots in South Carolina (6-0) and Florida State (6-0). South Carolina received a pair of first-place votes to claim third in the poll. Florida State, who is scoring almost 19 goals per game is in fourth.
The reigning champs, Liberty (3-0), sit in fifth place and received two first-place votes.
