SAN RAFAEL, Calif. -- After its first full season in the MCLA and bringing in a 16-man freshman class, the young Dominican lacrosse team is looking to make a statement in the MCLA and WCLL with a tough spring schedule.

The Penguins will play 14 regular season games, including six contests against programs that qualified for the MCLA National Championships powered by Under Armour -- Oregon State, Colorado, Colorado State, Chapman, Cal Poly, and Cal. Seven opponents were nationally ranked.

The Penguins open up with a scrimmage against NCAA Division II Notre Dame De Namur on Feb. 4. Dominican kicks off its MCLA schedule with back-to-back home games against Oregon State and Washington on Feb. 11-12. The regular season ends against WCLL conference rival Santa Clara on April 22.
