ATLANTA- Central Michigan sophomore netminder Michael Fett has been named MCLA Division II PEARL Goalie of the Week. Fett back lined the Chippewas in three games against Division I opponents and helped lead Central Michigan to two wins. He started with 23 saves and only four goals allowed. Later the same day against Illinois he made 15 saves and only allowed one goal. The Chippewas fell to Temple on Sunday, but on the weekend Fett saved an incredible 81.7% of the shots he faced. For his efforts Fett will receive a PEARL swag bag complete with PEARL balls- the official ball of the MCLA.
Central Michigan head coach Aaron Auge said, “Fett continues to be a pivotal part to the rebuild at Central Michigan and is a leader on and off the field.”

Ryan Conroy, William and Mary- Across two game Conroy racked up 44 saves while allowing 14 goals
Cameron Jeffers, Arkansas - Turned away 19 shots while allowing seven goals against Drury
Connor Coolahan, Tampa - Lead the Spartans to a weekend sweep with 26 saves and nine goals allowed
Jake Stepan, St. Thomas – Pushed the Tommies to a win over Montana State with 14 saves 10 goals allowed.
Brogan Rice, College of Idaho – Totaled 28 saves and only five goals allowed across three games.
Joey Cortner, Montana- The Grizzlies goalie made 24 saves and while allowing two goals against Utah State.
