ATLANTA, GA. (November 14, 2024) – The verdict is out from the SouthEastern Lacrosse Conference that Georgia Tech is the ’25 favorite in the Division I Preseason Coaches Poll.
The Yellow Jackets finished the 2024 season 14 - 4 and even clinched the SELC Championship title.
The second spot is South Carolina (9 - 5). The Gamecocks lost to UF in the ’24 SELC Semifinals but beat Georgia Tech during the regular season and will be a team to watch in the Spring.
South Carolina only had Florida (9 - 7) beat by one point in the polls making them the third favorited team going into next season. There is no doubt the Gators will be trying to fight for as many wins as they can in the upcoming season.
