On this week's edition of CrosseFire, Trey Lanthier details the Virginia Tech Hokies and their back-to-back double-overtime games on a cross-country road trip. Should they be rising in the ranks even if both games were losses?

Also discussed is what these games mean for Grand Canyon and Arizona State, the teams that were able to survive the close finishes.

But the biggest story of the week comes on the Division II side, as Concordia-Irvine put its horses on full display with monster road wins over St. John's and North Dakota State, both Top 5 teams. Unfortunately the show aired before the Concordia-St. Thomas game late on Tuesday, so that result wasn't factored in.

And across town in Orange, Calif., the Chapman Panthers just got a very important player back from injury.

At the end of the show, as always, find out who the players of the week are, and which matchups you should be keeping an eye out for heading into the next week of play.

You can catch CrosseFire, a comprehensive look at the entire MCLA, airing live on Tuesday nights at 8 p.m. ET on lacrossetalkradio.com.
