LYNCHBURG, Va. -- The Liberty men's lacrosse team has been hosting an annual “Midnight Mayhem” lacrosse game since 2013 and is searching for an opponent for the 2017 installment.
This tradition started as a unique opportunity to showcase the sport of lacrosse on the Liberty University campus and has grown into a huge event, bringing in thousands of fans. In last year’s matchup against the University of Florida, there were over 5,000 people in attendance.
Liberty wants to continue this tradition in 2017, and is reaching out to any interested teams in the MCLA willing to be a part of this great event. This year's “Midnight Mayhem” game is tentatively scheduled for April 7. Any interested teams should contact menslacrosse@liberty.edu.
