ORANGE, Calif. -- Cal won their only championship in 1998. Grand Canyon won it's lone title in 2015. They meet on Thursday in the second Division I semifinal of the 2017 MCLA National Championships powered by Under Armour at Chapman.
The second-seeded Lopes have had a comfortable road to the semifinals with wins over Northeastern and Arizona State. The No. 6 Bears have been tested by Oregon and needed overtime to knock off Colorado in the quarterfinals. Regardless of the path, both are a win away from the finals.
The game is scheduled to start at 7:15 p.m. PDT.
