ROUND ROCK, Texas – The Men’s Collegiate Lacrosse Association (MCLA), the preeminent non-varsity league in the country, is pleased to release its logo for the 2025 MCLA National Championships presented by New Balance.
The Championships are held from May 5-10 at the Round Rock Multipurpose Complex.
The logo is the creation of graphic designer Matthew Farrell, who is based in Long Island, NY and a longtime supporter of the MCLA.
"It’s been a great pleasure being challenged to develop and design the MCLA Championships logo these last few years,” said Farrell. “This year’s logo is the last in the series of Texas themed logos and I was challenged to go a different direction which I really enjoyed.”
“The Champions of each Division will be stoked to see what we’ve done for them. That’s all I’ll say now though.”
The competition in Round Rock is the MCLA’s seventh championship in the Lone Star state. The 2006 (Plano), 2007 (Frisco) and 2008 (Farmer’s Branch/Irving) were held in the Dallas area. The 2022-2025 championships being held here in Round Rock and concluding this spring.
“I like the clean look of this year’s logo and can’t wait to see it on the different apparel options in the MCLA Championship Store come May,” said championships director, Matt Holman. “It’s always good to have that carrot in front of you as the season starts this month.”
