PHOENIX -- After advancing to the semifinals of the 2016 MCLA National Championships powered by Under Armour, Grand Canyon has released its schedule for the 2017 campaign.

The Lopes, who won the MCLA title in 2015, will play an 11-game slate this spring with eight of the contests occurring at home. Three of those games -- Brigham Young (March 6), Arizona State (March 31) and Arizona (April 7) -- will be played at the state-of-the-art GCU Stadium.

GCU Stadium features seating capacity for more than 5,000 spectators and includes an academic wing underneath the stadium. At 41,852 square feet, the stadium will provide 3,000 shaded individual chairback seats and is located in the heart of GCU’s campus, just north of Antelope Gym and steps away from the Student Union.

The all-natural turf is surround by a 10-foot grass berm on three sides to house 2,000 spectators. Students and alumni will enjoy an exclusive tailgating area on a 2,100 square foot raised-concrete platform on the east side for extra seating. In addition to the field, the complex will include a spacious indoor facility that features team locker rooms and a satellite training room. Fans will also have access to a Lopes team store and a concession stand.
