FORTH WORTH, Texas – The four active teams in the Lone Star Alliance (LSA) Division I will gather in North Fort Worth at Vista Ridge Middle School for a final weekend of lacrosse on April 24-25.

The invitational will start on Saturday, April 24, with LSU playing Texas Tech in a semifinal contest at 5:30 p.m., with the winner advancing to Sunday’s final at 3 p.m.

The 7:30 p.m. night cap will consist of Texas A&M and TCU squaring off for a ticket to Sunday’s matchup.

“We wanted to reward our athletes with one last weekend of lacrosse for the 2021 season,” said LSA conference director Jason Zantjer. “For some, this will be their last game at the college level and this tournament is for them. We would like to thank the Keller Lacrosse Association for working with us to make this a reality.”

The winner of the tournament does not receive an automatic bid to the 2021 MCLA Invitational, which will be selected on April 28.

Next year’s LSA champion will receive an automatic qualifying berth in the 2022 MCLA National Championships presented by New Balance, in Round Rock, Texas.

Admission is free for those interested in attending the event and games will be live streamed via Game On Sports Productions.
