DENVER -- After rolling to an undefeated regular season followed by the Rocky Mountain Lacrosse Conference Division II championship, Montana State has been made the favorite to win the league again according to the preseason coaches poll.
The Bobcats (16-1) took nine of the 10 first place votes, leaving them six clear of Metro State (11-4), which finished in the second chair. The Roadrunners, which lost to Montana State in the RMLC championship game, picked up the other first place vote.
Fort Lewis (5-5) and conference newcomer CU-Denver rounded out the top four in the 10-team league.
Weber State (Utah) will also join RMLC-II in 2017, giving the conference two, five-team divisions.
