SEATTLE – The Pacific Northwest College Lacrosse League (PNCLL) has released its all-conference honorees and individual award winners in both divisions.
Simon Fraser led the way in PNCLL Division I with five first team all-conference selections and nine overall.
Clan senior attackman Tyler Kirkby was named the Most Valuable Player in the conference while classmate and fellow attackman Greg Lunde was named the Offenive Player of the Year.
Oregon senior close defender Matt Peter was named the Defensive Player of the Year while Idaho rookie Timmy Berard was tabbed Freshman of the Year.
Washington’s Jack Cerchiara was named the Coach of the Year.
In Division II, both Montana and Western Washington placed four players on the all-conference first team.
In addition, Western Washington junior attackman Benjamin Cole was named the Offensive Player of the Year and Montana junior goalie Andrew Moesel earned Defensive Player of the Year honors.
College of Idaho took home three individual honors. Senior attackman Nich Guzzetti was tabbed the PCLL Most Valuable Player while rookie attackman Joey Brant earned Freshman of the Year.
COI’s Matt Gier was named the Coach of the Year.
