DENVER -- Brigham Young won its second consecutive Rocky Mountain Lacrosse Conference (RMLC) championship last spring despite entering the league tournament as the No. 4 seed.
The Cougars are expected to make it three straight in 2018, according to the preseason coaches poll.
BYU (15-5), which was awarded the No. 1 seed at the 2017 MCLA National Championships powered by Under Armour, is expected to receive its biggest challenge from Utah (10-7), which was slotted second.
Colorado (15-5) and Colorado State (9-9) rounded out the top four of the six-team conference. The RMLC qualified for four teams for nationals last spring.
