SAN DIEGO -- A year removed from its first trip to the MCLA National Championships powered by Under Armour, San Diego State has crafted a strong schedule in hopes of returning to the tournament.

The Aztecs will play a 13-game slate under new head coach Jesse Foss, including a home game with defending national champion Chapman on Feb. 11. Six of the 13 games will come against teams that qualified for the championships in 2016.

San Diego State finished 8-6 last spring, but an 0-4 mark in its division kept the Aztecs out of the SLC tournament.
