It was another beautiful day in the MCLA with action from coast to coast and there were 25 games listed on the Division I schedule/scores page.

After a long build up, No. 14 Boston College finally started its season when it travel to New Hampshire for the collegiate coaching debut of former Grand Canyon standout Louie DeDonatis, but it didn't end great.

Utah State visited No. 5 Colorado, but the Buffs coasted.

No. 20 San Diego State entertained No. 8 Arizona State in a key SLC South division match-up, but the Sun Devils were too much, winning 14-8.

In Division II, there are 24 contests on the schedule/scores page but the biggest of all is the.clash between No. 5 Dayton and No. 3 Grand Valley State.

The Lakers breezed to a 14-9 win.

No. 17 Metro State, fresh off its win over No. 16 San Diego, couldn't make it two in a row against No. 2 Concordia-Irvine.

No. 24 College of Idaho edged No. 15 UC Santa Cruz, 17-16.
