ATLANTA- San Diego State entered their game against Chapman knowing their spot in the Southwestern Lacrosse Conference Tournament was secure; however, their seed was still to be determined as well as their at-large hopes for the MCLA National Championship Presented by New Balance should they not win the conference tournament.  Junior attackman Luc Schneider answered the bell for the Aztecs in a big way scoring eight goals and  adding two assists. The Austin, TX native paced the Aztecs as they beat the Panthers 14-8 to earn the two seed in the conference tournament.  The two teams will play again in the semifinals and thanks to the win and Schneider's performance the Aztecs will be wearing their home jerseys.  In recognition of his performance Schneider has been named MCLA Division I Warrior Player of the Week.

Aztec head coach Bryan Bome said, "Luc is an outstanding player who continues to elevate his game. His leadership on and off the field has allowed us to make this late season run and has the team playing its best lacrosse at the right time. Every time Luc steps on the field we are going to get some unbelievable creativity from him."

Schneider will receive a Warrior Burn XP2-O head – a $120 value. Warrior is a proud sponsor of the MCLA.
