DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- Each week, coaches in the SELC submit their nominations to the SELC awards committee for an Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week in each division. Below are the SELC Players of the Week for games played Feb. 27-March 5:

Division I

Offensive Player of the Week
Sam Eck, Georgia Tech - Senior, Midfield
Eck was instrumental over the weekend. Against Virginia Tech Eck had four goals and five ground balls and against California collected six goals, one assist and four ground balls.

Defensive Player of the Week
Hudson Higgins, Georgia Tech - Sophomore, Defense
Higgins' play was crucial in shutting down Virginia Tech's offense and helping the Jackets to win over California, too. Higgins really shined in the clearing game and had one ground ball against California.

Division II

Offensive Player of the Week
Cam Hocker, Miami - Sophomore, Midfield
Collected nine goals over the weekend between Central Florida and Florida Gulf Coast.

Defensive Player of the Week
Gavin McIntyre, Florida Atlantic - Sophomore, Long Stick Midfielder
Including three games in two days against North Dakota State, Missouri State and Dayton, McIntyre had 18 ground balls and one assist.

Honorable Mention
Jayson Andino, Florida Gulf Coast - Senior, Attack
Had three goals, two assists and six ground balls in win over Miami.

Drake Summers, Florida Atlantic - Senior, Attack
Including three games in two days against North Dakota State, Missouri State and Dayton, Summers had seven ground Balls, seven goals and five assists.
