INCLINE VILLAGE, NV - Sunday's convincing 17-3 victory over San Jose State guaranteed Sierra Nevada the top seed heading into next weekend's WCLL tournament. Twelve different Eagles would score throughout the four quarters of play.

Attackmen Jake Caliguire (3g, 2a) and Nic Zvirzin (2g, 2a) paced the SNC offense.

Making their mark on Senior Day, seniors Kyle Rockwell and Calhoun Boone combined for four points on the afternoon. Senior defenseman Dylan Hellberg's stellar play throughout helped hold the Spartans to only three goals.

"Today was a great day to be an Eagle. We had a lot of guys play extremely well," said SNC coach Matt Blamey. "Most importantly though, we gave our seniors a day to remember. All four contributed immensely to this victory; just as they have to our success throughout the entire season. Today was our best effort at a huge 'Thank you' to Kyle, Tim, Dylan and Cal."

The Eagles are scheduled to faceoff against UC Santa Cruz in the semi-final round on Saturday, April 30.
