INCLINE VILLAGE, NV - Sierra Nevada College is pleased to announce the 2017 men's lacrosse roster. In total, 39 student-athletes, hailing from six different states, will represent the Eagles on the playing field during the season.
"After our first week of fall ball, we are pleased with the skill level displayed on the field. That being said, almost doubling the size of our roster presents a whole new set of challenges this year," explained Eagles head coach Matt Blamey. "It's a good problem to have.
"Due to the unpredictable Tahoe weather in January and February, we have to run a fairly heavy fall ball season. I believe we have the pieces we need to be successful in the spring, it's simply a matter of using this fall to see where each fits best."
Sierra Nevada will kick-off fall ball with the annual Blue/White intrasquad scrimmage this coming Saturday, Sept. 10 in Tahoe Vista. On Sept. 17, the Eagles will travel to Diablo Valley College for the first exhibition game of the fall.
