SLC-I Title Goes to Chapman

SAN DIEGO – A year after missing nationals for the first time in 12 years, Chapman is returning to the tourney after downing top-seeded Concordia, 11-5, and winning the Southwestern Lacrosse Conference (SLC) Division I title.

With the victory, Chapman (15-3) earns an automatic qualifying berth to the 2023 MCLA National Championships presented by New Balance, which will take place from May 8-13 at the Round Rock (Texas) Multipurpose Complex. Tickets and live streaming for nationals can be purchased HERE.

The Panthers put their stamp on this contest right out of the gate, scoring the first eight goals of the game before coasting home for the win over Concordia (11-5).

Chapman awaits its first-round matchup when the pairings are announced this evening on MCLA.us. Concordia will await its fate in the at-large pool.
